Mr. Kenneth E. Cotton, Sr., 58, of Smiths Station, AL, passed on Thursday, January 17, 2019 in Russell County, AL.

Funeral service will be 3:30 p.m. EST, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Dr. Patrick Brown, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Alexander Abercrombie Community. Visitation is from 12 - 8 p.m. EST, Friday, January 25, 2019.

Kenneth was born July 30, 1960 in Ft. Mitchell, AL to Alberta Cotton and the late Archie L. Cotton, Sr. He was a 1979 graduate of Mt. Olive High School and employed by the Phenix City Lumber Yard. He is the husband of Elise D. Lockhart.

Survivors include his mother, Alberta Cotton; companion, Debra Adams; three sons, Kenneth E. Cotton, Jr., Segundo (Michelle) Adams, and Nealleyon Adams; two daughters, Lashelleric James (Frederick Banks), Tomickann (Timothy) Alexander; four brothers, Archie L. Cotton, Jr., Willie (Wanda) Cotton, Stanley (Amy) Cotton and Tyrone (Amy) Cotton; two sisters, Regina (Micheal) Williams and Carolyn Mincey; 20 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
