Mr. Larry Holt, Jr., 54, of Columbus, Georgia, departed this life on May 23, 2026, at Piedmont Midtown Hospital.
Larry was raised in Columbus, Georgia, and Phenix City, Alabama. At the age of 12 or 13, he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. From an early age, Larry enjoyed drawing and landscaping and was known for his wonderful sense of humor.
As an adult, Larry continued his passion for landscaping and enjoyed many hobbies. He had a unique way of brightening the lives of those around him. Whether greeting someone with his familiar phrase, "What you are doing?" or calling out their name followed by his contagious laughter, Larry brought joy wherever he went. He loved good food, appreciated those who cooked for him, and enjoyed dining out with family and friends.
Above all, Larry loved his family and always wanted everyone to get along and stay connected. His kindness, laughter, and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Larry leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Emma Miles (Henry); his father, Larry Holt, Sr. (Veronica); his siblings, Will Miles (Denay), Tracey Miles (Quaterria), Christine Miles, Cathy Miles, Joann Miles (Glen), and Mary Wiggins. He also leaves a host of loving nephews, nieces, cousins, great-nephews, and great-nieces who loved him dearly.
Larry also leaves behind his cherished and devoted significant other, Anita Trejo, whose love and support meant so much to him.
Though Larry's physical presence is gone, his laughter, love, and memories will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
"Well done, good and faithful servant." – Matthew 25:23

Larry you will truly be missed. I enjoyed having you as my neighbor. Dorothy Bell
I would like to express my deepest sympathy. He was a good guy. My memory of him is he and I me helping him cut grass and drinking beer. Hate to put it like that but that was a very dear friend of mine.
To The Holt Family, I'm truly sorry for your loss. You and your family have my deepest sympathy. Larry was more than a neighbor; he was a good friend and our yard man. We're going to miss him dearly. Anita, I will continue to keep you and his family lifted in prayer
