Larry Wayne Fitzpatrick I, 71, passed on Tuesday, May 28, 2025 in Columbus, GA.
Mr. Larry Wayne Fitzpatrick I was born December 7th, 1953, in Columbus, Georgia. Larry transitioned on May 28th, 2025, at Columbus Hospice at the age of 71. Larry accepted Jesus Christ as his lord and Savior at an early age. At the age of 17 Larry joined the Military and retired after 22 years of service as a Sergeant First Class.
Larry who was also known as "Lil Coke Cola" was an artist. He was also a jokester that kept people laughing. Larry loved his family and showed it through supporting them in various ways. Larry loved serving his country.
Larry was preceded in death by both of his parents Burrell Fitzpatrick Sr and Mildred Fitzpatrick, one brother Burrell Fitzpatrick Jr, and three sisters Mary L Jackson, Shirley Foster and Linda Faye Fitzpatrick.
Larry memories will continue to live on through his wife Linda Fitzpatrick of Newport News, Virginia: two daughters Chiquita Daniels of Columbus, Georgia, Roshetta Fitzpatrick of Richmond, Virginia and one son Larry Fitzpatrick II of Columbus, Georgia ; three sisters, Apostle Kathleen Peterson, Martha Monk and Sophia Hall all of Columbus, Georgia; two brothers, Bobby Lee Fitzpatrick Sr. (Jannie Fitzpatrick) of Mayo, Florida and Lamar Fitzpatrick of Macon, Georgia; 6 Grandchildren Dijon Pritchett of Lufkin, Texas, Devon Rose of Hampton, Georgia, Malik Fitzpatrick of Richmond, Virginia, Duron Rose (Jazmeen Rose) of Tampa, Florida, Shawn Watson of Richmond, Virginia and Maleah Fitzpatrick of Virginia Beach, Virginia; 6 great grandchildren, Dijon Pritchett Jr of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Julio Pritchett and Ja'Vyon Pritchett both of Lufkin, Texas, Kyro Fitzpatrick and Aaliyah Fitzpatrick of Richmond, Virginia and Saiyuri Rose of Tampa, Florida and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
We are so grateful for the God-sent caregivers Janese Smith, Tawana Nydigger and Terri Brown. We thank you for the service you provided our father. And to his (Six) Chris White, we thank you for the late nights, food runs, watching sports with him and treating him as if he was your father.
