Mr. Lester Bradford, 76, of Chicago, IL passed on Saturday, April 11, 2026 in McDonough, GA.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, April 25, 2026 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Rowe, officiating. Public visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
Honoring the life of Colonel Lester Bradford, or "Big Daddy" as so many of us knew him, means celebrating a man who was a literal and figurative giant in our lives. As a Kentucky Colonel, he carried himself with an innate sense of service and honor, but it was his role as a protector that truly defined him. Whether he was acting as a bodyguard or leading at the entire Bradford collection of companies, he was our unwavering shield and our greatest advocate.
"Big Daddy" didn't just take up space; he created it for others to feel safe, seen, and supported. We lose more than a leader today; we lose a cornerstone of our community whose strength was only matched by his heart. Rest well, Colonel—your watch is over, and your legacy of protection and kindness remains with us all.
