Obituary For Mary Alice Williams
Mrs. Mary Alice Williams, 94, of Phenix City, AL passed on Thursday, March 16, 2023 in Columbus, GA.
Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. EST Friday, March 24, 2023 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Garrett, officiating.
Mary Alice Williams was born December 19, 1928, in Smith Station, Alabama to the late Lonnie and Alzadie Wilson. She was the first of five children.
She professed her belief in the Lord Jesus Christ at a young age and was a faithful member of Enterprise Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL and Abundant Life Full Gospel Outreach Church, Columbus, GA.
On May 9, 1949, she was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Henry Clay Williams, Sr. On March 16, 2023, the Lord called His faithful servant home to receive her reward.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Henry C. Williams, Sr., her daughter, Shirley Combs, one brother and three sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Gray, Christine Brown (Robert), Deborah Williams, Lolita Johnson (Jason) and Gwen Whitter; two sons, Henry C. Williams, Jr. (Cindy) and Jimmy Coar (Emma).
She also leaves behind 28 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
