My deepest condolences to the Sanders and Jones family in their time of bereavement. Momma Bird was a generous loving person who always put me out the house, when me and Pooh Pooh were acting bad. I have fond memories of her in Fred and appreciate her chastising me. May God strengthen the family and continue to bless them...Amen

I was saddened to hear about the passing of Byrd. My condolences to the entire family. Byrd was a sweetheart. As being a part of the family during my military days, she and I were close as in-laws. Always wore a smile. Family, God bless you and may heaven smile deeply upon you!

Momma I'm so lost without you, I'm EMPTY, SHATTERED, NUMB, but I know God will see me through this he has never failed me. It gives me comfort knowing that you are in your HEAVENLY HOME and you are WALKING on those golden streets in heaven absent from the body and present with the Lord. You raised five children as a single parent and did an AMAZING JOB and we are GRATEFUL for you and will continue to make you PROUD of us. Momma you were such a CLASSY LADY who ALWAYS cared about your appearance and ALWAYS carried yourself with DIGNITY you were in a lane of your own never was a FOLLOWER or GOSSIP was not in your vocabulary words!!!!!!! You were loved by so many people no one can NEVER say anything NEGATIVE about you because you were ALWAYS just being BYRD to others but mom to your children you leave a beautiful LEGACY behind and some BIG SHOES to be filled by your children and grandchildren you are already being HIGHLY MISSED until we meet again on the other side love your OLDEST DAUGHTER and I say this with PRIDE and JOY Virginia Bass πΌπΎποΈππΎ

Thoughts & Prayers For The Entire Family.βοΈ
We are truly in mourning over the loss of our beloved sister. Bird was a truly extraordinary woman who took on the adversity of this life with no fear but a dogged determination that said she refuse to lose. She had a joy and smile that was infectious and lit up the room. Her sense of humor and ability to take the lemons of life and turned them to lemonade. She invested her time into motivating and encouraging her children to be successful in life. Her brothers and sisters trusted her wisdom and sought her advice. Her ability to remain joyful during her last years while confine to a bed and chair was confirmation that her affections was on things above and not the thing of this world. I believe she never surrender to death but the Lord took her. She leaves a legacy of being an awesome mother and grandmother. My fondest memory of her is during the holidays she would cook that soul food that was actually good for your soul. We will truly miss your physical presence but you are alive and well in our hearts and minds.
