Mrs. Mary Huguley, 72, of Columbus, GA passed Sunday, November 19, 2023 in Columbus, GA.
Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. EST (1:00 p.m. CST) Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Brother Michael Parker, officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, November 27, 2023 from 1-5 p.m. EST.
Mary Louise Cook Huguley was born March 11, 1951 in Harris County, GA to the union of the late Brinson Cook and the late Mamie S. Cook.
Graduating from Carver High School, Mary went on to get married to the love of her life, Jimmy Huguley, on September 27, 1971. They were married for 52 beautiful years and brought two beautiful children into this world.
They both went on to work at Swift where she stopped working after 23 years. after her disability stopped allowing her to work, she was know for spending every waking moment with her grandchildren and being such a God fearing women.
Before falling asleep in death, Mary was a loyal servant to Jehovah for over 40 years. Before her health declined, she was a member of the Belvedere Park Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Cook and three brothers, Brinson Cook, Jr. (Mary Jean), Bennie Cook (Catherine) and Sylvester Cook.
Mary leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Jimmy Huguley; two children, Kelvin and Rafael Huguley; six grandchildren, JaNiya Huguley, Jaylon Huguley, Aaliyah, Huguley, Miracle Huguley, Miracle Banks and Kevonte Banks; four sisters, Alma Greene (Ernest), Perlene cook, Vivan Cook and Janet Lindsey (Monte); two brothers, Johnny Frank Cook (Patricia) and Dennis Cook; one sister-in-law, Rosetta Cook; her spiritual family and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
I will never forget you Grandma, you meant the world to me and now your gone. I wish you was still here with me. But now in the afterlife I know that you will help guide me on the right path.
