Obituary For Maurice DeSean Wright
Maurice Wright, 36, passed on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. EST on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Greater Beallwood Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Public viewing is 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, June 27, 2025.
Mr. Maurice De'Sean Wright aka “Bison” was born Thursday, April 20,1989 in Columbus, GA to Deborah Wright and the late Felton Adams.
Maurice attended schools of Muscogee County and graduated from Carver High School class of 2007. He had his CDL’s and worked for The Logistic Company for about 15 years.
Maurice was preceded in death by his father, Felton Adams and uncle, Gary Rodgers.
He leaves to cherish his mother, Deborah (Terry) Wright; fiancé, Kyerra Hayes; daughter, Ma’liyah Wright; bonus dad, Jeffrey Barnett (Big Jeff); four brothers, George Johnson, Jarrett Willis, Jeffrey Barnett, Jr. and Timothy Adams; two uncles, Shawn Wright and Robert Woods; aunt, Jacqueline (Mark) Tolbert; great aunt, Edith Bufford; two grandmothers, Betty Drake and Lucille Adams; three great uncles, Willie Wright, James Wright and Charles Wright and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
