Mr. Michael Donnie Andrews, 68, of Columbus, GA passed on Saturday, April 8, 2023 in Atlanta, GA.
Funeral service will be held 12 noon EST Friday, April 14, 2023 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Minister Gayle Andrews, officiating. Burial to follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL. Visitation is Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 1-5 p.m. EST.
Mr. Michael Andrews affectionately known as "Happy" to his family and "Papa" to his grandchildren. Mr. Andrews was born on July 5, 1954 in Tallahassee, Florida.
On Saturday, April 8, 2023, he went to be with his Lord and Savior and entered into eternal rest. Mr. Andrews was retired at the time of his passing.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lois Andrews and his father, Ulysses Andrews.
He leaves behind his wife, Dollie; four children, Christy (Roy), Rahsaan (Corita), Arneshia, and Mitzi (Marvin); three grandchildren, Lathan, Samaya, and Naima; two siblings, Gayle and Gregory; one niece, Gernayle Simmons; his best friend, Nate Cuffy, and many family members and friends who loved him dearly.
