Condolences to the Family of my first grade teacher(1957). She was known as Mrs. Kidd then and later in life I had the opportunity to be reunited with her as Mrs. Battle. I have never known nor do I remembered a teacher that had such an impression on me, by the way I received from her my first and last spanking ever in school(11 years). I was so advanced from my first grade teaching that I skipped second grade and was placed in the third grade my second year of school. Not only was she and awesome educator she was also loving and devoted to her students. Her first year at Susan B. Allen Elementary School was also my first year and I will always be grateful for the experience I shared with her. Rest in peace and love Ms. Kidd/Battle. Respectfully, Annie Sue Blanding
