SFC (Ret.) Noble Jenkins Jr.
A proud veteran of the United States Army, Noble Jenkins Jr. was called to eternal rest on January 18, 2025.
Born in Troy, New York, he was the devoted husband of Dorinda (Garrett) Jenkins of Columbus, Georgia (formerly of Troy, New York), for fifty-two years. He was the beloved son of the late Noble Jenkins and Gertrude (Wilson) Jenkins. His greatest joys in life were his cherished grandchildren and spending time "out in the woods," where he loved to hunt deer.
He is survived by his brother, Earl Jenkins (Marlene), and preceded in death by his brother, Scott Jenkins (Regina).
Noble leaves behind a legacy of love through his family: two sons, Noble Jenkins III and Steven Lamont Jenkins; Steven's wife, Shimika (Barnwell) Jenkins; grandchildren, Asia Lykiel Jenkins, Steven Lamont Jenkins Jr., Dorinda Rene Jenkins, and Desmon Jashun Harris. He is also fondly remembered by Shimika's children, Aaliyah Barnwell, Jayden Barnwell, and Alijah (Barnwell) Jaro, who shared a special connection with Noble; a host of great-grandchildren, including the late Kehlani Jenkins, who is lovingly remembered; and many beloved nieces and nephews who brought him joy throughout his life.
His memory will forever be cherished by his loving family and friends.
Sending prayers and condolences to the family in your time of sorrow. Remembering y'all from Troy N.Y 🙏🏾🙏🏾
