Ms. Nora Word Kimbrough, 79, of Columbus, GA passed Thursday, June 27, 2024 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, July 6, 2024 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home at 1514 5th Ave, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Harrison Ford, officiating.Burial will follow in St. Peter A.M.E. Church Cemetery at 5295 Sandfort Rd, Seale, Alabama. Visitation is Friday, July 5, 2024 from 12 - 5 p.m. EST.
Nora Bell Kimbrough was born January 17, 1945. She passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024 in Columbus, GA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Kimbrough, Jr.; one son, Jeffery Kimbrough; nine siblings; two grandsons, Jeffrey Kimbrough and Jamison Lawerence.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her children, Jaqueline K. David (Calvin Johnson) Reginald D. (Whilini W.) Kimbrough and Kinseu Kimbrough; one brother, Charlie James Word; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren; godchildren, April W. Carter and Carolyn Thompson; great uncle, R.C. Robertson; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
