Obituary For Norman Ray Daniels

Norman Daniels, 64, passed Friday, November 1, 2024 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. EST on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Willie Pearson Jr., officiating. Burial to follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. Public viewing is 9:00-11:30 A.M. on the day of service.

Norman Daniels also known as Ray was born September 22, 1960 in Columbus, Georgia. Ray was the fourth child of Lillie and Joe Daniels. Ray was a graduate of Central high school in 1978 and continued his education at Alabama State University. He later joined the United States Air Force in 1982.

In 2015 he married Carolyn Sue Daniels, they have been married for 9 years with two step daughters Kelechi Moody and Chikere Fedrick .

Ray had a passion and love for selling cars. He was a top car salesman in Columbus,Ga for over 30 years. He retired in 2018.

Ray joined Greater Mt. Zion in Phenix City, AL where he later moved his membership to Christian Valley Baptist Church in Cataula,GA. Ray loved his sweets and chocolate candy but most of all he loved God and family.

Ray will always be missed by his loving wife Carolyn Daniels; step daughters Kelechi (Terence) Moody and Chikere(Clerence) Fedrick ; siblings Bernard(Veronica) Daniels; Gregory Daniels; Christopher (Linda) Daniels and the late Timothy (Patrice) Daniels. Nephews ; Ahmad Daniels, Miles Daniels and Jamal Daniels. Nieces ; Milan and Katilya and a host of two bother in laws with aunts ,uncles and friends and family.
