Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal but "Love" leaves a "Memory" that no one can steal! Momma Mae, as I called her "momma" was a true example of love and was my late mother's best friend. Whenever you saw her, she always greeted you with a smile and a hug. She would always end with "love you!" Momma Mae was not only a kind and sweet person but she was also "loved" by everyone around her. My heart is heavy as I also grieve with the family but I know that there is a celebration in Heaven as she is greeted by Mr. Pat, family, friends and best of all, she is in the protective, loving arms of our Lord and Savior! My love and sincere sympathy to the Family! Vanessa Johnson-Holloway/Bee Bee (Glendale, Arizona)
Vincent and Paula, please know how much I wish to be with you and your family to help you and to comfort you through all of your hurt and pain. And though you have so much to go through on your own, my hands and heart reach out to assure you that you are not alone. You have my deepest sympathy! With all my love, Cynthia Williams
Cathy, Even though I traveled this path many years ago, I can only imagine your journey. Just know that God will give all of you the strength to continue on your life's journey. Cherish your memories as well as each other. Hugs & much love, Tommie
To the family of Mrs. Mae, honestly I don't know where to begin because there is so much history. Growing up in Holy Trinity, Mrs. Mae was one of the matriarchs in the community, providing guidance and discipline to us as children because I spent so many afternoons after school in her home. In my adulthood, I came to realize how much of a caring and concerned person she was, also putting others wellbeing before hers, in spite of her own physical challenges, as she would always ask about myself or someone else whenever we talked. You never heard her talk or boast about herself. What a beautiful spirit! Mrs. Mae is going to be missed in the community, seeing her worshipping and fellowshipping at various churches for various programs, family gatherings/events, and just her overall presence. In closing, 2 Timothy 4:7-8 sums it up. With much love, Reginald, Deneen & D'Andre Hill, Phenix City, AL.
