To Mrs Dianne & The Griggs Family, I just want to thank you for sharing Otis with us at MCSO. Every time I was assigned to work with him in courts—I knew it was going to be a great day! I loved how he always pointed to the sky and gave praise to our Lord! When we share the same love for Jesus, we are all brothers and sisters in Christ, which means we will be seeing him again! So I keep reminding myself he is just in a different address: HEAVEN💕✝️🙌 We love you Mrs Dianne and you're beautiful family and we will continue to lift you all up in our prayers. "May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His face to shine upon you and give you peace 🕊." Love Always, The DePietri Family

Mrs Diane & Griggs Family, there are not too many words of comfort I can give you in the loss of such a great man as Otis. To work with him was an honor and privilege that very few times in my life I have encountered. Diane, thank you for allowing me to visit with Otis during his battle with cancer. I arrived at your home all down and out at the situation, I left with my head high in the sky! Otis, in this dreadful time, reached and raised me up. Waht a fighting spirit of good he was. My words do not give this wonderful man justice, but they are the best I can offer. Prayer for you and the family as you struggle with this awful loss. Husband, Father, friend, co-workers alike mourned heavily at his loss! May God bless you and with His righteous Mighty Hands cover and protect you and give you strength to endure the pain of loss of a much loved man! David Abney

I can remember working with Griggs with the Muscogee County Sheriff's Department. He worked at the jail in charge of the kitchen and the inmates that worked there. He ran a tight ship. His work ethic, love of his family, and his faith and love of God was easy to see if you got to know him. He was always smiling. You fought a good fight and finished the race. No more suffering and no more pain. You are now in the presence of your Saviour and you will receive your just reward. Till we meet again my friend. To Diane and the family I send all my love, sympathy and prayers. Michael Burt
A Great All Around Guy We Had So Much Fun I Use To See Him At The Movies Working, Gave Me Great Advice when I was going thru Something You'll Be Missed My Friend🙏
Humble and kind that is who Otis was to me and how he will be remembered. He lived the Golden Rule every day. He lived every day with zest and had a phenomenal work ethic and I learned so much. There are so many memories that one would lead to another. One of my most precious memories is how Otis and Diane brought me into their family. Everyone knows how private they are as a family and yet they invited me in as one of their own. What an honor. Otis, I will miss you every day. I love you.
To The Griggs Family - Our condolences with you🙏🏽...May God grant peace & comfort each of you🤗. The Mitchell Family - Pittsview, Alabama🙏🏽

Otis was a man of service, he served in many capacities, i.e., his country, his community; and most importantly, his service to mankind through his deep personal relationship with God. He will truly be missed around New Hope Baptist Church, Holy Trinity, AL, working and ushering and just his overall presence. Do know that I love you and we are praying for your strength during the difficult days ahead. Respectfully, Reginald, Deneen & D'Andre Hill.
