Rosa Mae Wilson 76, resident of Norwalk, Connecticut transitioned into eternal rest on Tuesday April 14, 2020.
Rosa was born July 4, 1943 to The late RC & Louise Calhoun in Hurtsboro Alabama.
Rose accepted Christ at an early age where she joined First Baptist Church. After moving to Norwalk, Connecticut she joined Shiloh Baptist Church.
Rosa is predeceased by her late husband Clarence Wilson, her sister Mary L. George of Norwalk, Connecticut and her brother Tommie L. Calhoun of Detroit Michigan.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Stephanie Renee Wilson of Hamden, Connecticut; her son, Clarence Wilson of Bridgeport, Connecticut; two grandchildren Nyla Wilson & Clarence Wilson III, of Bridgeport, Connecticut; two sisters Lillie M. Teel (Winzer) of Norwalk, Connecticut and Sadie M. Calhoun Richardson of Norwalk, Connecticut; two sisters-in-law, Mary Wilson and Ruth Wilson both of Norwalk, Connecticut; one brother -In-law, Eddie Russell George of Norwalk, Connecticut and host of nieces & nephews.
Rose was known as "Sweet Rose". She was an entertainer and loves music and having fun. Her favorite saying was "HIT THAT NICKEL AND BUMP THAT QUARTER AND DON'T FORGET TO LEAVE THE FIFTY CENTS ON THE SIDE"
