Mr. Rufus McCory of Phenix City, AL passed Sunday, April 4, 2021 in Columbus, GA.
Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Charnel Garden of Rest - 5230 Lee Road 240, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Johnnie Taylor, officiating. Visitation is Friday, April 9, 2021 from 3 - 5 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Mr. McCory was born April 9, 1957 in Smiths Station, AL to the late John Henry McCory and the late Annie Ruth McCory.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca McCory; children, Adri- enne Gordon, Felicia Berry, Michael Rudd, Franky Gordon; one sister, Frances Davis; four brothers, John McCory (Brenda), Ernest McCory (Margaret), Curtis McCory and Raymond McCory; special friends, Frank Loud and Phenix Monument family; other relatives and friends.
