To the Hood family, we are so sorry for your loss and we are all thinking of you during this difficult time. Ryan will be dearly missed but always in the hearts of the MAG Family.

It is a heavy heart that I write this as one of Ryan's high school science teachers and long time family friend. I will never forget that half smile (which by the way was contagious) he used to flash when I asked him if he had finished his classwork. Ryan walked these Smiths Station halls with so much confidence and SWAG, just waiting for the next basketball game or the next season to begin. What a big heart he had. There will never be another like you. Seeing him mature into a respectful, hardworking, world traveler, lets me know that he was never afraid to follow his dreams. My deepest condolences to the entire Hood family. May you find comfort in knowing that Ryan was loved by all and he truly will be missed. -Vivian Mitchell Martin

To Ryan I really tried to wait to write this because it makes it real and I just still don't want to believe that you're gone or say goodbye. I struggle to find the words to say everything you mean to me or pick a memory because you gave me so many wonderful ones. You always found a way to come to my basketball games to support, always uplifted me with whatever I was doing, and you just made everything better. You were always a good person but you grew so much and the person you became I'm so proud of you. You always were teaching me in one way or another on how to better myself along the way. It's really hard to imagine not hearing you say Jazz anymore or hear you talk about your dreams. I'll miss your one of a kind smile with the look in your eyes and the safe place that you were for me for all these years. I'll miss knowing that you were always in my corner cheering for me to do well. Ryry I'm so thankful that I was blessed enough to have you in my life. These words can't sum up what you mean to me.I love you and I always will. I'll miss you until we meet again.

To Ryan's family I'm sending love and prayers yals way. Thank you for raising such a gentleman, words really can't express how amazing he was.
