Samuel Alexander, 62, passed on Saturday, September 6, 2025 in Atlanta, GA.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Public viewing is 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST on Monday, September 15, 2025.
Samuel Alexander of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025 at Emory University Hospital. He was born on September 11, 1962, in Ft. Mitchell, Alabama, to the late Willie Mae Alexander and George Miller.
Samuel graduated from Mt. Olive High School in Ft Mitchell, Alabama. He was a faithful member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Throughout his life, Samuel worked hard to provide for his family and community. He was employed for many years at Burnham Moving Company and later at Wal-Mart in Columbus, GA.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Artesha Lewis, and his sisters, Catherine Butler, Geneva Alexander, and Veola Alexander.
Samuel leaves to cherish his memory with his loving daughter, Keisha Alexander; three grandchildren, Ja’Quez Garrett, Ja’Niya Garrett, and Jayden Perry, two sisters, Judy Williams and Viola Alexander, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who will remember him with love.
