Ms. Santoyas Dominique Jackson, 33, of Columbus, GA passed Monday, October 23, 2023 in Auburn, AL.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, November 4, 2023 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. Visitation is Friday, November 3, 2023 from 2-5 p.m. EST.
Santoyas Jackson was born on September 20, 1990 in Columbus GA the daughter of Trena Jackson the late Otis Barnes and a devoted stepmother, Stella Williams.
Santoyas Jackson departed from us on October 23, 2023. She impacted the lives of all those she met and had a profound impact of the lives of the children in the community. She graduated from Kendrick High School and loved Cosmetology.
Santoyas was preceded in death by her grandparents, Floria Jackson and Robert Lee Jackson; aunt, Tomeka Jackson and uncle, Luther Cockerham “Poochie”.
She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Trena Jackson; five sisters, Shinque Lawrence, Santrena Jackson, Ebony Faulkner, Tika Lawrence all of Columbus, GA and Britney Shorter of Phenix City, AL and one brother, Tony Thornton; five aunts, Tawanda Jackson, Monica Jackson Cassandra Harper, Christine ( Dave) Gaston, and Loretta Vann; six uncles, OT (Marvina) Barnes, Sammy Barnes, Nathaniel Harris, Robert-Scott Jackson, Dale Jackson and James O’Neal two nephews, three nieces and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
Prayers to the Jackson family. She was the most bright, kind, loving and wonderful person I had ever known. I wish we could have spent more time together but I will see you on the other side. Rest in peace my lady.

My heart is so heavy. There are never words that can put into exact expression of emotions that, I'm sure a lot of people's lives you touched. I've known you and your family for many years, so much so that I considered you all my family, you and your sisters my nieces. So, to say that the news of your passing hasn't touched a part of my soul, it has. Even more so because, I live thousands of miles away. Sending my condolences, and prayers of strength, to the family in their time of need.

I use to braid Santoya's hair when she was little. She also spent time with my daughter and her friends when we went Trick or Treat. I have many pictures of memories and she will be missed.🥰
