Sarah Louise Kennedy, 83, of Seale, AL passed Saturday, September 5, 2026.

Funeral service will held at 11:00 a.m. EST, Friday, September 11, 2026 at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, Seale, AL with Rev. Hovet Dixon, pastor; Minister Evelyn Long, officiating. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery. Public viewing is 12 - 5 p.m. EST on Thursday, September 10, 2026.Sarah Louise Kennedy was born July 27, 1943 in Russell County, AL. She was the daughter of the late James Early Kennedy and the late Cleola Averrett Kennedy. She accepted Christ at an early age and lived her life in faith, love, and service to others.

Preceding her in death were her father, James Early Kennedy; her mother, Cleola Averrett Kennedy; brother, James Kennedy; sisters, Ola Mae Lockhart, Catherine Cliatt and Dorothy O'Neal.

Sarah leaves to cherish her memory two children, Wendell Kennedy (Trista), Phenix City, AL and Steve Kennedy (Kiowana), Seale, AL; one granddaughter, Chloe` Kennedy; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Sarah will be remembered for her quiet strength, her kind and generous spirit and the unconditional love she gave to her family. She was a woman of faith who always put others before herself. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the love she left behind.
