Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. EST on Friday, April 10, 2026 at Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL with Pastor Noble Williams, officiating. Interment to follow at Edmonds Cemetery, Phenix City, AL. Public Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Taylor Funeral Home.

My thoughts and prayers to the Powell family. She was a sweet and kind person.
To Sarah's family & friends. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this difficult time. My friendship with Sarah extends as far back as our days (weekend shifts) at Russell County Group Home and continued currently during our shifts at Griffin Mill Group Home. I truly enjoyed working with Sarah and the many conversations we shared about our faith, family & community, which she cherished all. Rest well Sarah! You will be greatly missed my friend.
