Susie Miles, 77, passed on Saturday, May 31, 2025 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. EST on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at St. John AME Church, Ft. Mitchell with Rev. Dr. Isaac Hudson, pastor, officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Public viewing is 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, June 6, 2025.
Ms. Susie Miles was born on February 29, 1948 to the late Mose Wyatt, Sr. and Mary Wyatt. She transitioned to her heavenly home on May 31, 2025 surrounded by her family. Susie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Susie accepted Christ at an early age and joined the St. John A.M.E. Church where she served faithfully on the Usher Board until her health started to decline. She was educated in the Russell County School System.
In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her brother Mose Wyatt, Jr.
Susie memories will be cherished by her three children; Turhan (Gloria) Miles of Hurtsboro, AL, Jason Miles of Ft. Mitchell, AL and Scott Miles of Phenix City, AL; five grandchildren, Shantanise Cooper, and Teanna Miles, both of Hurtsboro, AL, Justin Miles of Atlanta, GA, Serrato Miles of Phenix City, AL and Frankie (Tyeaka) of Tuskegee, AL; three great grandchildren, Kennedy Crandall, Jayden Miles and Tyler Stinson; two nephews, Timothy (Queen) Wyatt and Frederick (Tiki) Wyatt; one niece, Temeca Wyatt as well as a host of cousins and friends.
My deepest sympathy to the family of Susie Miles(Sis). May God watch over you, and comfort you, as you prepare to lay your loved one to rest.
