Mrs. Talela Deon Davis, 46, of Columbus, GA passed on Friday, December 27, 2024 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. EST, Monday, January 6, 2025 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Public viewing from 2 - 4:30 p.m. EST, Saturday, January 4, 2025.
Talela Deon Davis, aka “Tee” was born June 3 1978, in Utica New York, to Ophelia Barber-Caine and the late Donnie Graham senior. On Thursday, December 27, 2024 she transitioned to her heavenly home at the age of 46. Talela joined the Spring Hill Baptist Church and accepted Jesus Christ as her lord and savior at an early age. She later moved to Columbus, Georgia and joined Cascade Hills Church, where she was a faithful member until her passing. Talela was preceded in death by her grandmother Lily Clark and Father Donnie Graham Sr.
Talela was a part of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority in which she took serious pride in. Her first passion was nursing which then progressed into dental work for about 11 years. She was a very intelligent woman and possessed a plethora of degrees and certifications which include a dental assistant certification, an associates in accounting, a bachelors in healthcare management, and also a masters in healthcare management. On a normal day, Talela loved to spend time with her family, enjoy a good drink, and cherish every moment of life that she could. She also was a very big fam of Alabama Roll Tide. Even through her trials and tribulations, Talela didn't let anything stop her. She was committed to setting a foundation for her family. She was truly beautiful inside and out. We gather here today to remember but never forget this lovely soul. Thank you family and friends for your love and prayers.
Talela is survived and missed by her loving husband Eddie Davis Jr. of 25 years and her children, whom she was sincerely devoted to, Keishaun, Keionta, A’Kira, and A’kyra. Forever cherished and remembered by her only grandson, Kaysen (who she truly adored more than anything);parents and grandparents, Ophelia Barber- Caine;stepfather Charles Caine Sr.;grandfather, Johnny C. Barber Sr.; grandmother,Mae Ella Barber; siblings, Charles Caine Jr., Donnie Graham Jr., and Pamela Barber; nieces and nephews Kaitriunna Caine, Kameron Blackmon, Tamelia Caine, Tyquis Brown, Kavin Barber, Karobia Barber, and Treyson Davis and also her great nephews Jaylen Caine and Jayden Caine.
