Terry Phillips, 63, passed on Saturday, February 8, 2025 in Seale, AL.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Uchee Chapel AME Church located at 4579 Sandfort Rd, Seale, AL. Public viewing is 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, February 21, 2025.

Mr. Terry Lee "Soul" Phillips, son of Benjamin Phillips Sr. and the late Ida Bell Phillips, was born on July 12th 1961 in Phenix City, Alabama.

Terry attended Chavala High School in Seale, Alabama. He also worked in textiles and the Russell County Sanitation.

Terry gained his wings and entered into eternal rest on February 8th, 2025. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Bell Phillips.

Giving thanks to God, Terry cherished memories are his two daughters, Letresha Phillips and Brittany Phillips, both of Columbus, Georgia; one son, Billy Holt; his father, Benjamin Phillips Sr. of Crawford, Alabama; three grandchildren, Xavier Jasper, Amani Sheppard and Jasiah McAdoo, all of Columbus Georgia; He also cherished four sisters, Georgia (Levester) Morris and Judy Phillips of Crawford, Alabama, Dr. Evelyn (Walter) Jacobs of Phenix City, Alabama and Vickie (Andre) De Leon; our brothers, Tommy Jones of Phenix City, Alabama, Roy Phillips of upper Marlboro, Maryland, Benjamin (Frank) Phillips Jr., and Lanard Phillips; two aunts, Sarah Daniels and Izora Sanders; one uncle, Jimmy Lee Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
