Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. EST on Friday, February 7, 2025 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Minister Barbara Ivey, officiating. Burial in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Pittsview, AL. Public viewing is 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, February 6, 2025.
Travis βMontβ Upshaw, was born February 8, 1982 in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Dennis Upshaw Sr and Ethel Upshaw.
He departed this life, Saturday, January 25, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Dennis Upshaw, Sr. & Dennis βLil Blackβ Upshaw, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Ethel (Kenner) Upshaw, Columbus, GA; two daughters, Tia and Ty Mia Upshaw; one son, Zamarion Frazier; one sister, Sheanna (Jeffery) Glenn, two brothers, Torrey (Taneisha) Upshaw and Tremayne (Angel) Upshaw; two uncles, Clarence (Alberta) Upshaw and Willie Charles Brown; special aunts, Carrie Brown, Clara Jones, Ida (Michael) Daniel, Gussie (Roosevelt) Daniel and Edna Brown; fiance', Lequita Jakes; step children Jakiya, Keiondre and Dequaveon Jakes and a host of cousins whom he loved dearly.
