Obituary For Trevor Levon Woods
Trevor Levon Woods, 23, of Ft. Mitchell, AL passed on Monday, August 18, 2025 in Phenix City, AL.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. EST on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at St. John AME Church, Ft. Mitchell, AL with Rev. Dr. Issac Hudson, Pastor, officiating. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.
Trevor Levon Woods, beloved son, brother, and friend passed away on August 18, 2025, at the age of 23.
Trevor was born on February 25, 2002, to Leveda James and the late Leon Woods. He accepted Christ at an early age and grew up in Fort Mitchell, AL. Trevor was a May 2020 graduate of Russell County High School.
After graduation, Trevor spent time living with his brother, Tri, in Kansas and later in Hinesville, Georgia, alongside his close friend and brother-at-heart, Q. Evans. Trevor was well known and deeply loved by many. He had an unforgettable personality, full of life, energy, and determination. Just as quickly as he could make you laugh, he could also challenge you.
Trevor was a true go-getter. He worked hard and was always looking for ways to better himself. He was about βgetting money,β and he had a deep love for fast cars and anything that moved with speed.
Fearless by nature, Trevor never backed down from anything. Sports played a big role in his journey. He enjoyed football, basketball, and video games, where his competitive spirit always shined through. Most recently, Trevor was employed with the Walmart Distribution Center in Opelika, Alabama, and was admired for his work ethic and determination.
Trevor is preceded in death by his father, Leon Woods and grandmother, Juanita James. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, his mother, Leveda James; his siblings, Triandos Woods, Leyla Elias, Frederick Elias, Jr., Leon Markese Woods, Keyona McPearson; grandfather, Thomas James; his extended family and countless friends touched by his presence.
Though his time here was short, Trevor made every moment count. His absence has left a void, yet we are grateful for what was.
