Mr. Vantice Williams of Phenix City, AL passed Monday, October 13, 2025.
A celebration of life will be held 12 noon EST, Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Franchise Missionary Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL with Dr. Raymond Cochran, pastor and Dr. Stephen Faulk, officiating. Interment to follow in St. John Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Crawford, AL. Visitation is Friday, October 24, 2025 from 2 - 5 p.m. EST.
Vantice Tawain Williams was born in Columbus, Georgia on March 1, 1985, to Barbara Williams.
Vantice was affectionately known as "Tice" by family and friends. He was a 2006 graduate of the Helen Keller School in Talladega. Tice was a sweet spirited young man and jokester. His joyful presence was always felt when he was in the room. He loved nature and the outdoors. He found joy in cutting grass, washing cars, and walking around outside. Most of all, Tice loved cooking. He took great pride in making his famous Tice Burger with fries.
Tice was loved and cared for from childhood until his demise by his adopted mother and aunt, Sarah Marie Chappell. On Monday, October 13, 2025, Vantice entered into eternal rest with his mother, Sarah Chappell.
Tice precious memories will always be engraved in the hearts of his brothers and sisters: Rodney Luke, Cornelius Tolbert, Eddrick Tolbert, Anesha Dowsey, Octavious Threatts; half sisters and brother: Tanika Edwards, Shan Horton, Joyquette Meadow, Jermaine (Amekia) Meadow; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other family, and friends.
