Having young adult children I've adopted many of their friends as my own. Venson became family by way of my daughter. He was such a humble and very respectful young man. He remained positive about his circumstances, I never heard him complain. He inspired, uplifted and supported so many. Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers during the days ahead.

oh my sweet brother "vdawg" meeting you at just 11 years old & watching you become the man you were is just amazing! I appreciate all the fun memories.. we have always been neighbors from children to adults & I'm grateful to always have memories with your family & significant other. If I would've known our last encounter would've been 3 weeks ago I wouldn't have left. Thank you for being a coach an educator to my nephew. Your work is done & not one thing went unnoticed.
