Vinson Reese, 79, of Columbus, GA passed on Friday, March 27, 2026 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. EST on Friday, April 3, 2026 at Greater Shady Baptist Church with Rev. Marcus Gibson, Pastor, officiating. Burial to follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. There will be no public viewing.

Vinson Reese was my classmate since junior high at Spencer Jr. and Marshall Jr from 1958-1960. We were also classmates at Spencer High from 1960-1964. Vinson was a cool guy who was never loud or out of control. He was a classy dresser and a friend to many. Our 1964 Class of Spencer High will remember Vinson fondly forever.
