Mrs. Virginia Louise Miles, 78 of Phenix City, AL passed Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. EST Wednesday, September 29, 2021 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Alexander- Abercrombie Community Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 1-5 p.m. EST.
Mrs. Miles was born April 6, 1943 in Phenix City, AL to the late Henry Preer, Sr. and Lizzie Preer.She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Bethel A.M.E. Church in Phenix City, Alabama. Along with singing in her church choir, Mrs. Miles also enjoyed making floral arrangements for weddings and other special events.
Mrs. Miles was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Willie Lee Miles, Sr. and two brothers.
Surviving her departure with cherished memories, include: her beloved children, Mr. Willie Miles, Jr. (Barbara), Mr. Michael Miles, Mrs. Debra Rogers (Craig), Mrs.Yvonne Lara (Roberto) and Mr. Gregory Miles (Staci). Her beloved grandchildren, Renee, Michael Jr., Andre, Kiara, Cielita (William), India, Acardia, Maria and Christacia. Her beloved siblings, Mrs. Beatrice Brown(Clarence), Mrs. Ethel Mae Johnson, Mrs. Margrett Williams(Oliver), Mrs. Mary Ann Jackson(the late Jimmie Jackson), Mrs. Janice Allen(John), Pastor Mrs. Veluria Felton(the late Robert Felton), Mr. Emmit Preer, and Mr. Edward Charles Preer. One uncle, Mr. Charlie Frank Scott. Her loving great-grandchildren, Tyren, Trajen and McKayla and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Grandma, words can't explain how much you meant to me. You raised me from a baby.
