Mr. Willie Horace, 58, of Phenix City, AL passed Monday, October 24, 2022 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m.EST, Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Colbert A.M.E. Church with Rev. Herbert Newsome, pastor, officiating. Interment to follow in Colbert A.M.E Church Cemetery, Seale AL. Visitation is Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 1-5 p.m. EST.
Mr. Willie Edwin Horace better known as "Chill Will" was born September 7, 1964 in Hatchechubee, AL to the late S.B. Horace and the late Louanna Horace. He was a 1982 graduate of Russell County High School and was previously employed at Vector Ply in Phenix City, AL.
He is preceded in death by his parents, S.B. and Louanna Horace; brother, Thomas Shelton; sister, Leslie Horace and granddaughter, MacKenzie Richardson.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Angela Horace; two daughters, Lytishia Horace and Keondra Horace; five sons, Marquez (Shaleria) Richardson, Willie (Kiya) Horace, Jr., Coryon Horace, Keondrey Horace, and Nate Mies; five sisters, Margaret Murphy, Lucille Shelton, Debra (Robert) Jackson, Cheryl (Davis) Henderson and Mae Washington; three brothers, Samuel (Dorothy) Horace, Darryl Horace and Tom Horace; mother-in-law, Mae Bell (Albert) Johnson, 17 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
