Xavier Trent Igus, 31, of Columbus, GA passed on Sunday, November 16, 2025 in Columbus, GA.

Xavier “Trent” Igus, age 31, of Columbus, Georgia, passed away on November 16, 2025. He was born on May 2, 1994, in Columbus, Georgia, to the late Gary Person and Tyronica “Tricey” Igus-Murray.

Trent was a proud graduate of Columbus Technical College, where he earned his GED—an achievement he deeply valued. He worked diligently at Ankerpak Manufacturing in Columbus, Georgia, and was admired for his dedication, strong work ethic, and reliability.

Family meant everything to Trent. He was the loving father of four beautiful children:

• Serenity Imani Igus
• Antonio Sencere Igus
• Xavier Trent Igus Jr. (Mother: Senterra Grier)

Trent leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Tyronica “Tricey” Igus-Murray, and his siblings: Gary Eugene Person, Gabrielle Sharee Igus, Tyreke Trevon Murray, and Allria Yakira Igus, all of Columbus, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his father, Gary Person, and his brother, John Will Murray Jr.

He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, and many other loving family members who will forever cherish his memory.

Trent was quiet yet lively, protective of his loved ones, and deeply rooted in who he was and what he believed. He loved his children wholeheartedly and was a devoted, present father. His strong mind, warm presence, and deep love for family will be remembered forever.

He will be missed beyond words by his family, his children, his friends, and all whose lives he touched.
