Obituary For Albert John Dominick Tarantola

Albert John Dominick Tarantola
May 12, 1954 — Sep 27, 2026

Albert John Dominick Tarantola, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on September 27, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 72.

Born in New York on May 12, 1954, Albert's adventurous spirit led him south along the Appalachian Trail until he discovered East Nashville, a place that captured his heart and became his lifelong home.

He spent many years as a District Restaurant Manager for several fast-food chains, where he was known for his strong leadership, larger-than-life personality, and the belief that managing people meant caring for them. Known for his generous heart and compassionate nature, Albert was an empath who never hesitated to help those in need. He was devoted to his family and took great pride in being a father, mentor, protector, and provider. His guidance, strength, and unwavering support left a lasting mark on all who knew him.

Albert enjoyed listening to his favorite 70’s LP records, watching Star Trek reruns, and cheering for the New York Giants and Tennessee Titans. Above all else, he treasured time spent with family and friends.

Albert was preceded in death by his father and mother John and Josephine Tarantola, his sister, Frances, niece Tracie, Betty Ann, with whom he shared his daughters, and beloved wife, Lynn Patrice.

He leaves behind his sister Joanne and niece Skylar, his daughters Bianca and Amanda, grandchildren Kayla, James, Elijah, Abby, Ashton, William, Luke, great-grandchildren Carter, Kamdyn, Zaylie, great-nephew Carter, great niece Nova. He is survived by his treasured mother-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, bonus daughters, grandchildren, and extended family through his marriage to Lynn, all of whom held a special place in his heart. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, dear friends, and all those whose lives were touched by his kindness and generosity.

Though Albert's passing leaves an immeasurable void, his legacy of compassion, sacrifice, humor, and devotion to family will live on in all who knew and loved him. "He followed the path less traveled and left it brighter for those who came behind.”
