Alice Brown Nashville, TN Age 99, transitioned peacefully on May 30, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur D. Brown, Sr., parents Rev. Ephraim and Anna Winrow and six siblings. She is survived by sons Arthur D. Jr. (Jean) of Nashville, John E. (Marie) of Los Angeles, CA and Thomas J. (Janice) Brown of Bowie, MD; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. Viewing at Terrell Broady Funeral Home Thursday, June 8, 2017, Noon to 6:00 PM with family present 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Funeral service 12:00 Noon Friday, June 9, 2017 at Capers Memorial C. M. E. Church, 319 15th Avenue North with family visitation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Interment Monday June 12. 2017, 10:00 AM at the Middle Tennessee Veterans National Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Lane, Pegram, TN .
