Obituary For Allene Overton
Allene Overton Nashville - Passed away from this life on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Allene was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, May 19, 1929 to the late Albert Anthony Sr. and Lena Bright Anthony. She is also preceded in death by her husband Harvey Overton, Sr., brothers, Albert Jr., William, Charles Sr., and Roland Anthony. Survived by daughters, Patricia Tuck (William Tuck), Linda Bender (Rev. Gary Bender), Sons, Deacon Harvey Overton, Jr., Deacon Michael Overton (Thelma Overton), Larry Overton (Lorri Overton), Rev. Jerome Overton (Wanda Overton), Sister, Mrs. Eula Black. Allene also survived by a host of Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many Friends. Allene will lie in state Sunday, December 3rd from 3-6pm at Kayne Avenue Baptist Church, 1025-12th Ave. So. Her family will be present to receive friends from 4pm to 6pm, and 11am to 12 noon on Monday, December 4, 2017 followed by the Celebration of Life Service.
