Elaine Louise Dobson departed this Earthly life February 3, 2024. She was born July 5, 1944, to Nathaniel Pointer and Lucille Winchester in Nashville, Tennessee.
Elaine was a devoted member of Schrader Lane Church of Christ. Elaine received her education in the Nashville Davidson County Public School System where she attended Meigs Junior and Meigs High School.
Elaine married the love of her life William H. Dobson January 17th, 1987. Elaine was a Microbiologist for The State of Tennessee until her retirement in 2009. Elaine loved reading her Bible, photography and spending time with her family and friends.
Elaine is preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel Pointer and Lucille Winchester and daughter Phelonda Elaine Lockridge.
Elaine leaves behind to rejoice her life devoted husband, William H. Dobson; children, James D. Lockridge, Mandel (Sheila) Wells, Calvin (Tara Rooks) Wells, Mark (Channell) Wells, Jacqueline (Fred) Moore. Bonus son David (Lukeya) West. Devoted Brother and Sister-In-Law Dwight and Dorothy Tidwell. Grandchildren Jessica Evans, DeJohn Outlaw, Amber (Josh) Ramseur, Mandel Wells Jr, Patrick Dobson, Precious Lockridge, Jasmine Lockridge, Chavez Lewis, Jeremy Pittman, Jonathan Jean, Ayana Wells, Jamaal Wells, Markus Wells, M’Kalai Wells, and Twelve Great-Grandchildren. Special friends Chawana Murphy and Wanda (Thomas) McCroskey. A host of Family and Friends and the Schrader Lane Church of Christ Family.
