Gail Wynn Dixon Brentwood, TN Born February 26, 1953 in Nashville, Tennessee. Her parents were George Henry Cunningham and Olivia King Cunningham. After an extended illness, Gail transitioned from the land of the dying to the land of the living on October 17, 2015. Gail is survived by her loving and devoted husband of forty-one years, Vernon 'Sonnye' Dixon, Jr.; daughter, Sonja Michelle Dixon and son Vernon 'Trey' Dixon, III. Mrs. Dixon taught Physical Education in Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools for thirty years. A celebration of her life, 'Happy Hour—Celebrating that Love Wins' will be held Friday, October 23, 2015 at Hobson United Methodist Church, 4590 Clarksville Highway, 37218.
