Obituary For Helen Duncan
Helen Marie Duncan Nashville, TN After an extended illness departed this life to go be with the Lord on December 5, 2015. Helen was born December 19, 1940, in Nashville, Tennessee, the daughter of James Edward Armstrong Sr. (deceased) and Mary Agnes Armstrong. In 1957, Helen married the love of her life Charles H. Duncan, Sr. (deceased) and they raised four children; Carol Duncan M.D., Charles, Jr. (Janice) Duncan, LaToyia (Theopelis) Coleman, David Duncan and adopted son Alvin (Rose) Montgomery. Helen was preceded in death by her siblings; Juanita Miles, James, Jr., Benjamin, Wesley, and Carlton Armstrong and survived by other siblings Clifford, Douglas, Joan, Ronald and Alfred Armstrong. The celebration of Life Services will be at Greater Christ Temple, Thursday December 10, 2015. Visitation from 6PM to 7PM and the funeral services immediately to follow at Greater Christ Temple church 2400 10th Ave. South Terrell Broady Funeral Home 615-244-4755
