Kevin Earl Davis, born on January 1, 1971, to Julia Davis, peacefully departed this life on Saturday, August 22, 2026, following a short illness.

Kevin was raised in Nashville, Tennessee, and attended Maplewood Comprehensive High School, where he proudly played the drums in the school band. He was known for his kind heart, resilient spirit, and deep love for family and friends.

Later in life, Kevin gave his life to Christ at Community Christian Church, Nashville, TN. His faith became an important part of his journey and provided him with strength and guidance. He lived by his favorite scripture:

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”Philippians 4:13 (KJV)

Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rose Catherine and Ernest Thomas, his paternal grandparents, Hugh and Mary Wilmot, and sister Christy Poledor.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving parents, Julia and Nathaniel Odom; his devoted aunt, Wanda Baez; his devoted sister, Danielle (Lemeal) Maddox, loving siblings Lamont (Ella) Odom, and Tenisha (Justin) Ashford; his cherished cousins, Erika (Desmond) Scivally; and Darian Davis, a host of loving, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Kevin's legacy is a life well lived. Though he is no longer with us in body, his memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration to those he leaves behind.

"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."
