Linda Louise Tyler-Goins, 64, of Nashville, Tennessee was born September 5, 1959, in Vicksburg, Mississippi to Robert Tyler III and Shirley Sanders Conner. She transitioned to be with our Heavenly Father on January 19, 2024. Upon moving to Paducah, Kentucky, she received her elementary, middle, and secondary education in the Paducah Public School system, graduating from Paducah Tilghman High School in 1977. In 1982 she graduated from Tuskegee University with a Nursing Degree.

After graduating from Tuskegee, Linda moved to Nashville and served as a nurse at St. Thomas Hospital. Feeling a call to serve the youth, she later joined the Metro School System, where she served lovingly as a school nurse until her transition. Linda gave her life to Christ at an early age and continued to live a purposeful God-filled life until she was
called to her Heavenly home.

Linda loved serving others and would wholeheartedly bless anyone in need. She adored her family and friends and took great pleasure in driving miles to celebrate and/or assist when the need arose. Linda enjoyed gardening and pickling and always delighted in sharing the fruits of her labor with as many people as possible.

She was preceded in death by her father Robert Tyler Jr., her mother Shirley Lea Conner, her sister Doris Ann Tyler, two children Renee Goins, Timothy Goins, nephew Andre’us Taylor; grandparents, Bennie Franklin Sanders, Sarah Elizabeth Patterson Sanders,
Robert Tyler Sr., Katie Beatrice Tyler Ragsdale, Kermit Ragsdale; aunts, Edna Allen, Odessa Fisher, Betty Tyler, Mamie Caldwell, Julia Sanders; uncles John Tyler, Sr., James Tyler, Sr., Leroy Tyler, Sr., Richard Ragsdale, Sr; cousins Dean Tyler, Diamond Tyler,
Edmund Tyler, Melinda Allen, Debbie Sanders Pea; brother-in-law John Goins.
