i worked with opal many years at the state 's regional office. she was always trying to help others. for over a year she brought me 'lunch on thursdays'-this was food left over from her church;s wednesay night suppers. this was the 'best' meal i ate for the week. i loved her laugh. she was one of the nicest persons i have ever met. i'm sure when she was met by Jesus, He said 'well done thou good and faithful servant'
Opal was a true angel blessed by God with faith and devotion. Her loss will be felt keenly by all United Methodists and by all those whom she loved and helped. But I know she is celebrating in Heaven!
