Terrance “Mooney” Lamkins was born on December 1, 1978, to the late Betty Jean Lampkins and Terrance Lee Nevels in Nashville, Tennessee. He departed this earthly life peacefully on October 20, 2025, at his residence.
Terrance was a husband, a brother, a son, an uncle, a friend, a nephew, a cousin and everything to some. Mooney was the person that everyone called on. He was about love, peace, and stability. “Terrance” as some called him truly had become Mr. Terrance Lee Lampkins a hardworking man. He was happily married to the love of his life, Keyona on June 5, 2022. He loved his wife and his family.
Terrance was a protector no matter what we called Terrance whether it had been “Mooney”, “Gine”, or “Gunsmoke”, we all loved him and cherished the man that we weep for today, so in honor of Terrance Lee Lampkins, grab the person next to you and love on them the way that Terrance would have.
Terrance was educated in the Metro-Nashville Public Schools System. He enjoyed being a trend setter, traveling, football, loving the people that loved him, and taking care of his dog.
Terrance is preceded in death by his parents, grandmothers, Gaynell Lampkins, Lela Bell Nevels; brother, Jonathan “Gotti” Wallace; uncle, Anthony “Boogie” Temple; and mother-in-law, Sheronda Dixon.
