Obituary For David West Jr.
David West Jr. was born on September 30, 1949 to the late David West Sr. and Mamie Hightower West. His heavenly tent was pitched on September 9, 2019.
David finished his education in the Harris County School System and received his Electrical Certificate from Upson Tech in Thomaston, GA. David served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He had a green thumb in his garden, he had a passion for hunting, he loved to fish and he loved to watch Matt Dillion and crew on "Gun Smoke".
His memories will be celebrated by his wife: Hope R. West; one daughter: Catina West; one son; Lamonte West; four brothers: Lester (Diane) West, Tommy West, Benjamin (Lechia) West, and Freddie (Carolyn) Jones; one aunt: Louise Dumas; one uncle: Jim (Peggie) West; grandchildren: Jasmine West, Emmanuel West and T'Nijah Jackson; great grandchild: Emmanuel West Jr; and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives who will miss him dearly.
Memorial Service: Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Terry Family Funeral Home 145 North College Street @ 11AM.
