Mr. Donald “Plookie” Williams was born, October 29, 1957, in Ellerslie, GA, to the late Haywood & Annie Lou Johnson.
He attended Harris County Schools. He was a free spirited individual and anyone who knew him, knew that he was rarely still. He loved his family and his friends; he met no strangers. He was always well dressed and he loved his coffee.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Dorothy Jean Williams.
He is survived by his daughters: Kuwanda Ruffin of Hamilton, GA, and Dorothy Jean Williams, II of Fort Mitchell, AL; his sons: Donald Frank Williams of Columbus GA, and Robert Parham Williams (Tasha) of Marietta, GA; his sister: Verna M. Sanford of Columbus, GA; his brothers: Nikita Johnson of Caldwell, Texas; David Johnson (Trevelle) of San Diego, CA and Curtis Johnson (Donna) of Prince George, Virginia.
Grandchildren: Jessie Ruffin, Jr., Dorothy Williams, III (Princess), Armani Miko Williams, La'Derion Robert Amari Williams, K'myiah Judy Nichelle Williams, Noah Julien Powell, Lily Samantha-Lynn Williams, Solomon Gabriel-Parham Williams, Xayden Rashaun Hunt, and De'Adrian Donald-Anquan Williams.
Aunts & Uncle: Precious W. Rome, Bina Williams and Otis Williams all of Columbus, GA.
Donald had a host of relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
Memorial Service will be Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 2:30PM at Terry Family Funeral Home -John R. Terry II Memorial Chapel 145 North College Street, Hamilton, GA.
