Obituary For Belinda Jones

Graveside services for Ms. Belinda Jones of Alpine, 59, will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at St. Campbell Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2020.

Ms. Belinda Jones was born on November 4, 1960, to the union of Cornelius Jones and Minnie Lee Garrett Jones in Talladega County, Alabama.

Ms. Jones united with St. Campbell Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. She completed her education at Talladega County Training School. Belinda enjoyed taking pictures, playing checkers, putting together puzzles, playing the game Operation, working crossword puzzles, playing cards, listening to gospel music and attending church.

On the evening of Friday, October 2, 2020, Belinda began her eternal rest at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in passing by her father, Cornelius Jones, Sr.; and grandparents, Savannah Garrett, Artencius Nix Garrett, Anthony Jones and Evergreen Jones.

Precious memories will forever live in the heart of her mother, Minnie L. Jones of Alpine, Alabama; eight sisters, Annie Lois (Lee Roy) Swain, Eva Lou Jones and Frances (Jeremiah) Garrett of Alpine, Alabama, Mary Jean (Michael) Gooden of Talladega, Alabama, Artencius (Curtis) Collins of Alpine, Alabama, Santa Thomas and Lori Ann Lee of Montgomery, Alabama and LaShandra Lee of Cleveland, Ohio; four brothers, Cornelius Jones, Jr. and Yancy Jones of Alpine, Alabama, Derrick (Dorothy) Jones of Childersburg, Alabama and Michael Lee of Talladega, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
