Born on Saturday, December 13th, 1958, to Bennie Hill, Sr. and Gladys Hill, Bennie was just shy of his 67th birthday.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Bennie served as Pastor at Refuge 3 Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ and District Elder of the Alabama Diocese 2nd District, roles through which he demonstrated his unwavering faith and commitment to his faith and community.
Bennie was a proud graduate of Lincoln High School Class of 1977 and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree from Jacksonville State University Class of 1981. His passion for helping others led him to a fulfilling career as a life insurance agent with Primerica Financial Services, where he touched countless lives through his dedication and expertise.
Bennie is survived by his devoted wife, Libbye L. Hill of Huntsville, AL, who stood by his side throughout his life (and his bad jokes). He also leaves behind his loving children: daughters, Brandi J. Hill and Brittney J. Hill of Huntsville, AL, and son, Brandon J. Hill and his wife Olivia J. from Thompson's Station, TN. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Brendon J. Hill, Brielle J. Hill, and Justin B. Tisdale.
Bennie is also survived by his sister, Elizabeth H. (Emanuel) Henningburg of Lincoln, AL; his brothers, Frank L. (Vickie) Hill and Jerome Hill of Lincoln, AL, and Fred (Loretta) Hill of Margaret, AL; and his godson, McWallace Williams, III. Additionally, Bennie leaves behind a host of other relatives, friends and classmates who will forever hold his memory dear.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie Hill Sr. and Gladys Hill; his sister, Patricia Hill Swain; and his brothers, James Hill, Elliott Hill, Richard Hill, and Timothy Hill; as well as his sister-in-law, Mary Hill.
Bennie's life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and service, and his memory will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known him. He passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, December 7th, 2025. His kindness, wisdom, and generosity will be deeply missed by all.
