On November 7, 1941, Fannie Hall Kidd was born to the late Ernest Hall, Sr. and the late Minnie Etta Curry Denson in Talladega County, Alabama.
Mrs. Kidd was a faithful member of Kelly Springs Missionary Baptist Church serving as Class #2 Sunday school teacher, she sang in the Inspirational Choir and was a Matron. Fannie was a graduate of Ophelia S. Hill High School. On July 20, 1969, she married Edward Kidd and assumed the role of being a loving wife and mother. When she was not caring for her family, Fannie enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening and helping others any way that she could.
Cherished memories will remain in the hearts of her daughters, Wanda Kidd (Roy) Ellison of Birmingham, Alabama and Selena Kidd of Gadsden, Alabama; her sons, Kelvin Kidd of Talladega, Alabama and Ronald (Fran) Kidd of Canton, Michigan; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren; four sisters, Bertha Mae Barclay of Buffalo, New York, Margie Kidd of Munford, Alabama, Ida Levy of Buffalo, New York and Minnie Pearl Gooden of Talladega, Alabama; one brother, Ray Hall of Buffalo, New York; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
On Sunday, July 6, 2025, Mrs. Kidd answered the Lord’s call to take her rest. She was preceded in passing by her husband, Edward Kidd; her parents, Ernest Hall, Sr. and Minnie Denson; and three siblings, Annie Lawrence, David Hall and Ernest Hall, Jr.
