Henry Clay Lindsey Jr., a beloved father, brother, and friend, departed this life on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the age of 48. Henry was born on Thursday, June 24, 1976, in Lineville, Alabama and was a resident of Oxford, Alabama at the time of his passing.
Henry was a proud graduate of Lineville High School, where he laid the foundation for a successful career. He dedicated his professional life to the Department of Transportation for the State of Alabama, where he served as a Project Manager for the Alabama DOT. His work was a testament to his commitment to improving the infrastructure and quality of life for his fellow Alabamians.
Henry was a valued member of the Unity Masonic Lodge No. 963, where he formed lifelong friendships and contributed to the community. He had a passion for spending time with his daughters, Aumaria, Gabrielle, and Maddison, all of whom reside in Oxford. He found immense joy and fulfillment in spending quality time with his daughters, cheering on Alabama football, and enjoying the simple pleasures of life such as fishing and flying drones from his porch.
Mr. Lindsey is survived by his loving daughters, Aumaria Lindsey, Gabrielle Lindsey, and Maddison Lindsey of Oxford, AL; his sisters, Nichole Lindsey, Michelle Lindsey, and Carmelia Johnson of Lineville, AL, and Con'Teresa (Hope) Collins of Oxford, AL; his brothers, LaDondric Lindsey, Michael Lindsey, Edward Kidd and Sharod Sims of Lineville, AL and Scottie Caldwell of Oxford, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
