Obituary For Jasper Wade

A celebration of life for Mr. Jasper Wade of North Charleston, South Carolina, formerly of Riverside, 73, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2022, at Terry's Mortuary Chapel. Visitation for Mr. Wade will be 5:00-6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at the funeral home.

Jasper wade was born on June 30, 1948, to the late Albert and Bertha Wade. He attended St. Clair High School before being drafted into the military. After completing basic training, he was sent to Vietnam for two years. He is the second child out of twelve siblings.

He was a very good-hearted soul and is known for his high-pitched laugh. Jasper passed away unexpectedly on June 12, 2022, at the age of 73. Jasper met Mame in 1964 and fell deeply in love and they were inseparable until the day he left for the military. Then after nine years, they found each other again. They were inseparable until he relocated to Birmingham, Alabama in 1990, where he worked for the City of Birmingham. Jasper was known for being incredibly passionate about his work. He excelled in his required work. He made friends and earned the respect of so many of his peers. Jasper was a giving, caring and selfless soul. He shared his passion craft through mentoring others and would do anything for anyone. He was smart and a perfectionist almost to a fault. Jasper was very precious and would describe himself as stubborn.

Jasper is survived by his wife, Mame and two children, Jasper, Jr. and Sandra; six step children and a host of family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends who loved him dearly
